This is your typical paper type air filter. It cannot be cleaned and
reused to extend at which a cotton type (K&N) can be cleaned with a special solution. It can certainly be blown with an air gun to dislodge any loose debries or just rap it on the ground once or twice. Dirt and grease caught inside the filtration paper itself is there to stay and this surface cleaning will not restore it to its original performance. |
