GM is already bankrupt - it's only the US government bailout package that is
keeping GM and Chrysler going. It will certainly be interesting to see what
the future of Holden is here in Oz those if GM 'formally' declares
bankruptcy in the US. One of the major problems is over-supply. Car makers
keep producing far more vehicles than they can sell and that's what creates
the dangerous downward monetary spiral for these massive corporations.
