Default Initial letter or digit of VIN

Where do I find a complete list of the meanings of VIN initial letters
or numbers? J for Japan. 1 for US. 5?... Thanks.

Thanks, Tegger. I did search on Google first. But my keywords were
"vin initial letter", but didn't find what 5 was (my 07 Odyssey is 5).
Do you know what's the difference between 1, 4 and 5? The first link
you gave me says they're all the U.S. The second link doesn't say. I
don't have permission to view the third link. Thanks again.

That "5" is a puzzle, isn't it?

Out of personal curiosity, I did some more looking around,
and found this document:

The Odyssey is built in Lincoln, Alabama. During my search
I was starting to think all the "5" vehicles came from Alabama,
but then the PDF blew that up by stating that Ohio can be a "5" as well.
Now I don't know what to think.
