Default A/C Problems....Help!!!

Hi all. My A/C compressor on my '95 Caravan keeps cycling on and off
every 7 or 8 seconds (7 seconds on, then 7 seconds off...etc.) The
air just gets slightly cool coming out of the vent into the cabin, but
not even close to the coldness it should have. Do I just need to
recharge with R-134a? What could cause the compresseor to cycle like
it does????? Please help!!

You have the same unfortunate problem as me. Recharging it with a can
of R134a will temporarily fix the problem (for about 2 weeks in my van),
but the problem is a leak in your A/C. The low pressure cutoff keeps
the compressor cycling.

mark
