A dumb question: Smaller offset wheels vs lowering

If you lower, the CG is further south and the car will corner better.

IF (big IF) you could get a reliable offset 13" wheel/tire combo
wouldn't you zx2 be lower and wider?

Wouldn't that make for better cornering?

Anyone know about anyone who successfully used offset wheels?

Changing the offset also changes the loadpoint on your wheel bearings.
If you move your tires outward by using wheels with more outward
offset, yes, handling will improve, but be aware that if you go
overboard be prepared to be buying bearings at a faster than usual
rate. Good luck.

I'm thinkin' that if you go with an inch or an inch & a half more
offset to the outside, minimal problems will occur & slight handling
improvements will be noticed. The negative effects of overkill will be
from using those REALLY offset wheels (like with the tires sticking
out from the fenders) that do nothing but, in some minds, enhance
appearance. Good luck
