Default Opinions - 2004 Dodge Neon

Good morning all,
I am currently renting a 2004 Dodge Neon while my 99 Gr. Caravan is in the
shop. What is your opinion on the Neon. Any experiences, good or bad, is
appreciated. Next year I may decide to trade in my wife's '01 Chevy Prizm
and we may go for the Neon if it is worth while.

Thanks in advance,
Tony

I wish I had one. I now have a 1998 Dakota (V-8), 2000 Neon (daughter's
car), and 2002 Intrepid (wife's car). I wish I had a new Neon for myself.
They are fun little cars with lots of power. The also turn on a dime.

My daughter has a 1998 twin cam Neon Sport 5 speed. I found it was
deceptively quick - and fast. Not as smooth as my wife's '96 Mystique
(2.5 L Duratec 6) but every bit as "punchy". Even with the good low
profile tires, that Neon can "break 'em loose" going into third with
very little provocation.

Seems they are in demand - it has been stolen once, and attempted
twice. Can't leave the darn thing without the "club" and expect it to
be there when you come back ------.

So far, everything seems encouraging. I will do some more checking as the
months go by to make sure the Neon will be the vehicle for us.

Thanks
