No argument there. But one of our local whiplash specialists is running
a TV commercial in which his "virtues" are extolled by William Shatner.

Any further questions? I thought not. The prosecution rests. :-)

Just be thankful he's not *singing* those virtues.

I keep a brick next to the TV remote, for just such a possibiity. "In
case of emergency, break glass."

I invoke my 5th amendment right to remain silent.....oh crap, that's
gone, isn't it?

No, I don't believe in absolutes in this case.
There are exceptions to almost every stereotype. Some I have found to
have many exceptions, some have been false altogether, and others have
been amazingly accurate and consistent in my own personal life experience.

One stereotype that there has not been an exception to ever is that the
stereotypical leader of the United States is always a white man.
That one is based on fact and fits in with #2 of the definition
according to Websters. "2. One that is regarded as embodying or
conforming to a set image or type."

I have a friend who still has one of those foam bricks that used to be
popular.

We were actually throwing it a few times at the TV two nights ago. :-)

Yes, I was upset, too, by the Democrats' rudeness to the President.

There are new distributors for your car all over Ebay for around $300
FWIW, used or rebuilt ones for less.

BTW, KBB says your car is worth about $2,200 or so, depending on
condition.

I am so sorry that you got upset.

Were they rude enough to tell him to go "**** himself"? Nope, that was
our Vice-President's words to a Democratic Senator on the Senate
floor.(isn't the V.P. a Republican?)
Rudeness is not limited to Democrats, so a Republican complaining about
Democrats doing it is extremely hypocritical.

We were just having fun laughing at Dubya as he attempted to give a
decent speech, which was among the worst I have ever seen delivered by a
U.S. President, nobody was angry or upset at all where I was.

Don't worry, I would have been laughing at Kerry as well.
One of the last things I would ever do would be to blindly follow the
agendas of either Republicans or Democrats.

Do you mean Presidents or leaders? I'd hate to think Dubya was our leader.
