Default Bottom fog lights question

I need to know the bulb number for a 97 Explorer bottom clear fog lights. It
seems that the 886 referenced does not fit, on the ones removed the
lettering is worn off. There are several different types that "look" right
but the two types that I bought do not fit.

Thanks

Shop around. I found them at NAPA for some insane price, because they're
uncommon and hard to find, allegedly. Identical to some other cheaper bulbs
on the rack, except that they're 38 Watts (or something) so as not to melt
plastic fog light shells: not too hot, not too cold, but just right!

I drove a couple blocks further to Pep Boys and bought one for half what
NAPA wanted.
