How do I jack up a Ford Aerostar to change a tire?
Will someone please tell me where to place the jack to change the right rear
tire on a 1992 Aerostar van? The owner's manual has a very bad illustration and I seem to be bending metal in all the places I've tried. According to the owner's manual, the jack should be slid underneath the vehicle under the sliding door, but I can't seem to get it in a good place. Thank you. |

Well, that does make some sense, factory jacks are generally squat. A good bottle-jack under an aframe will lift, and not usually do any damage. -- Knifeblade_03 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Knifeblade_03's Profile: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...?userid=262826 View this thread: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=566891 http://www.automotiveforums.com |
