Default will honda ever come out w/ the R in the US?

There was supposedly a release of the Civic Type R coming to the
states a few years ago?? there is a rumor that the Civic R will be
coming in the new Si format...

Why bother with the Civic when you can that engine on the Acura Type-S.
Considering the quality of that 210hp engine and 6spd tranny, I doubt
Honda will make much of a profit by dropping it into a lower priced
Civic. That engine is too fast for the Acura, that it currently sits in,
it'd be worse in a Civic.
