To those who bought a certified used or pre-owned vehicle
I will be purchasing a used vehicle in the near future. Most likely a
Honda or Lexus. I'm highly considering a certified used vehicle (manufacturer certified). Is it still a good idea to have an independent mechanic look over the vehicle before buying? Or can you trust the certification process from the manufacturer. Thanks |

If there is no warranty it really doesn't matter what they say about the vehicle, you are buying it As-Is and you better be sure there are no problems before you buy it. If you are not good at judging used vehicles for things like accident damage and repair it would be good to have someone check it for that kind of stuff even if it has a mechanical warranty. |
