Default Snow tire recommendations for 1997 M3 sedan?

I am looking for snow tire recommendations for 1997 M3 sedan. Also, do
I need wheels too or can I just replace the tires?

Everyone is going to say: go to www.tirerack.com or www.tires.com.
Personally, I like Michelin Pilot Alpines, but Bridgestone Blizzaks,
Dunlop WinterSport are quite good also. People also like
those weird-name tires by like Nokian or Hakka.

Having a different set of wheels makes changeover easy. It also
can save you money since you don't have to buy expensive, low-profile
tires if you get differently-sized wheels.

I ran some Hakkapellitas (made by Nokian) on my 3 coupe last winter and they
are awesome!

Get some 16" steel rims for those cold winter nights. Let your alloys relax in
your garage.

Are you kidding?

Park that bad boy over the winter....once the pavement is invisible,
they're worthless.
