It will be dearer.
Should have and "have done" are nothing to do with what we want them to do
and all to do with "um", sorry it escapes me why they have made these
choices. They wont build the 8C because it threatens Maserati. Ferrari
don't like it that Maserati have made the MC12. Same guy making all the
bottom line choices for all 3 firms. Close co-operation between the 3 is
great, but they can't have the buyers getting confused as to which car to
buy! Then the same guy runs FIAT, and they can't have AR taking sales :-(

8c ------ gone. Never to be
Brera ---- but not as we knew it.
157 ------ will anyone buy it?

Pete,
Who cares.
The 8C would have been out of reach like the Montreal was in her days (now,
afte 25 yeras I can afford one)
And we have the GT now, don't we, IMHO the best looking Alfa since years
with sufficient power with all 3 engines (let them keep the 1.8 though)

I have a GTV (916) 3.0 V6, and I am disappointed by the "brera-based" GTV
replacement. It ain't special enough. Sure the engines and drivetrain are
impressive, but it's no more exciting than the GT. Yes, the GT is a nice
practical car with a touch of flair, but I wanted the GTV to be a sports
car, not a hatchback. I agree with Bert - what's the point?
