71 headlight Accuator help
I understand that there is a rebuild kit available for the headlight
accuator. Would like to know the degree of difficulty or tips as I am having a bit of a challenge finding new ones for a late 71 coupe.... Thanks JJJ 1st time owner of a 71 350 Coupe |

Thanks, I did find that Corvettes of Dallas sells a seal boot that goes
around the connecting rod. It was real easy to replace and I also replaced the one for the Wiper Door. Still having a bit of touble, but it now looks like it could be a hose problem. Will just have to narrow it down through the process of elimination. Got it fixed and our local Shop recommended just to replace the rubber boot,
and it was real easy. Best of all, it was only a $10-$12 part and it took care of the problem.. We're almost done and ready to get it rolling again.
