Default Seat Broken - Warranty?

I just noticed the passenger seat on my 2001 Prelude SE isn't sliding
properly and have discovered that possibly the seat frame is crooked as it
seems too close to the door. As opposed to my driver's side being closer to
the center console, the passenger seat side (back part) seems to rub on the
arm of the door, thus does not slide easily when you press the release
lever. I am probably going to need this fixed but I am wondering if Honda
warranty covers this? I am not sure what could of caused this in the first
place, possibly a recent accident (spinout) on the highway that happened not
too long ago. Does anyone know roughly how much it is going to cost me to
fix something like that if it is not covered?

The warranty will not cover it if it was caused by the accident. Best bet
is to get the seat rails off another car in the junk yard.

If its rubbing on the door, was that side of the car damaged in the
accident? Could be the problem is the floor pan is bent causing the seat to
be misaligned.

I have a 2001 accord that needed a new cable inside the seat to be able to
push it forward. I bought the car used with a 3 year Hondacare warranty
just this year and it was covered for a $50 deductible, or else it would
have been about $300.
