Default Trouble code 26

My '95 SL1 (EFI/OHC) "check engine" light is on. It is reading code 26,
which is the quad drive.
I have tested the EVAP canister purge sensor, it reads good (42 ohms); the
coolant fan relay, it reads good (80 ohms) and the A/C relay also reads
good (82 ohms). I could not check the EGR solenoid ( I dont know where it
is located), but I believe if it was not good I would have a code 32 along
with code 26. but I have code 26 only. Does anyone know what else could be
wrong with my vehicle?

Thanks in advance.

You've ruled out the relays, so it's either the EGR valve or the
canister purge solenoid.

The EGR solenoid is on top and the canister purge solenoid is on the
back of the engine. My gut feeling is that you may as well just
replace both.

Tim.
