First and foremost, as much as I like the honda 2004 Accord, is as
much as I dislike the Honda "family". From Honda USA to Honda sales, parts, service all had their heas up their a$$es with regards to the rather simple tech question I posed to the group. First, the 2004 Honda Accord 6 CD Changer/XM radio is the same as the 2005 Second, I bought the AUX input converter here -> http://www.myradiostore.us/auxadapte...03-pc-son.html in addition, bought the "interference" adaptor for $20. I had it installed at Al & Ed's ( here in SoCal). third, the XM radio will have to be disconnected as the AUX input needs that plug. fourth, the CD change remains unphased by the additional connection fifth, DO NOT USE AN FM MODULATOR, engine noise, interference, sub par sound quality, etc etc All in all, $150ish later, I now have an awesome way to connect my iPOD into my stock radio. thanks for all the help found here. - Dan |
