Hi everyone,
I can home from work the other night to find a few fish eggs stuck to the
side of my tank & one egg stuck to the back of a yabby (fresh water
crayfish) in my tank. I thought it was strange its the middle of winter here
in Australia I didnt think it was fish breading time. Then again what else
can you do in the middle of winter ;)
The fry have hatched I so far have pulled 3 out of the tank into a spare
tank.
I have never raised fry. (first time dad ;) )At the moment I have them in
water from my main tank.
I will be doing some research on the net as well but I thought I would get
some opinions as well
Questions.
1 Do I filter?
2 I have a small Resun Magi 200 it moves about 200L per hour. Will it suck
them up?
3 Do I do my usual water changes to the fry tank as well?
4 What do I feed them? they seemed to be happy consuming a very sparce
amount of fungus (I missed a spot when I cleaned the tank) on the glass of
the tank when i caught them.
anything I missed?
