I have a lifeguard canister filter, I just changed the cartridge and I am
wondering can i clean the old cartridge? If so how? it is a brand new cartridge
only used for 1 month. also there are now bubbles coming out of the hose that
is connected to the filter and the pressure gage is reading zero. Will the
bubbles stop and pressure build in a few days? Sorry this is long but am new
to wet dry and cannister filters... thanks in advance

you CAN clean the old cartridges, but eventually they will be clogged more
often, so replacing them will be ok at some time. The air bubbles are just
trapped in the can somewhere... I've giggled my canister a couple times,
eventually the bubbles will come out and the canister will be up and running
100%...
