I'm not sure if you'll be able to find any definitive texts on matching
these fish together, and even if they existed, circumstances might
over-ride predictions. The age, sexual maturity and order of
introduction will all have significant bearing on the outcome. On the
up-side, the Jardini will keep to the surface and the cichlids to the
middle & bottom. On the down-side, the Jardini would be vulnerable to an
attack from underneath, which might occur when the cichlids realize that
there is something over their heads, between them and their food supply
