Default Austrilian Jardinee & American Cichlids

Will the jardine and the american cichlids get along ok. I have a 125
gallon tank with about 15 various american cihlids in it and I was

wanting
to put my jardine in it to free up a tank. I know the cichlids will be

safe
from it. None would fit in its mouth (by the way the jardine is about

6
inches). The part I am worried about is the cichlids beating up on the
jardinee. I really would hate to lose this fish but I need to move him

to a
bigger tank and that is the only one that I have. So do you guys think

this
would be a safe move. If you know of any sites that might give some

ifo on
the compatibility or uncomp. of these fish please let me know. All I

want
is every one to get along in one tank without anyone having to die.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to find any definitive texts on matching
these fish together, and even if they existed, circumstances might
over-ride predictions. The age, sexual maturity and order of
introduction will all have significant bearing on the outcome. On the
up-side, the Jardini will keep to the surface and the cichlids to the
middle & bottom. On the down-side, the Jardini would be vulnerable to an
attack from underneath, which might occur when the cichlids realize that
there is something over their heads, between them and their food supply
;~) YMMseriouslyV
