if i were you, I just would go ahead and do it on my own.
buy and populate your tank, that is the most fun part of setting up a
tank.
if they do not match, fine, then you
can have more chance to replace dead fish.
read a fish book, or ask a fish shop.

no matter what people will tell me, I will do it as I wish.
If i like a fish i see in a shop, i will buy it,
and it it turns out it does not work well with my other fish,
then I have learned more about cichlid behavior.

have you ever seen 2 tanganykan fish do the fight ritual, then lock
jaws fighting? it is pretty impressive show of aggression.
some fish will change color, the fins will become very alive, and fish
will
dance against each other.

Don't listen to that troll doll, chip... Aside from being an expensive way
to find out if you got compatible fish, its also rather cruel.

The yellows are pretty easy going as mbuna go. I've had them together w/ all
kinds of fish w/ little ill effect. They should be fine w/ the two species
you mentioned. Copidachromis Azureus might be another one. A species I like
and found to be of similar temprement is the Cynotilapia Axelrodi. Good Luck

I'd probably leave the borleyi out, they get kinda aggressive with similar
sized fish, and all that you list are similar sized fish...I had one and it
pesterd a few nearly to death....

Aulonocaras are great, labidochromis, and similars would be great
together... color and behavior that will be close....

Turns out im getting a 450 litre tank for the cichlids so im rethinking my
stocking strategy.

and what about soccofolis and the albino soccofolis, they are a tad pushy,
but have never had one injure another...
