Arowana Barbs by

Hi All-my arowana (going on 4 years old) seems to be complaining. He
constantly dissrupts my efforts to clean his tank. Is this supposed to be
normal behavior for such a fish.
Any help appreciated.

So my tank is still gradually cycling. The ammonia isn't spiking, and
is hovering just over 1 ppm, while the nitrite is about 0.5 ppm and the
nitrate at 20 ppm. I have been continuing with very limited feeding.
The pH of the tank is about 7.7 or 8. ...

Upgrading from 20 gal to 90 gal by
[email protected]
I currently have eight small Angels (dime to quarter size) in a 20 gal
tank. I am growing them out in this tank for a few months before I
move them over to a 90 gal. The twenty has a Whisper #2 Power filter,
a UGF filter with 25 lbs of gravel, and about five small Amazon Sword
plants. The 90 gal is...

Mating Rules for Angels by
-ED
My neighbor told me that angels were monogamus and they mated for
life..that if one died, the other would not find interest in another
mate. Could this be so? Is this common or am I getting my leg pulled here?

how long to QT after successful treatment? by
LM
Hi,
I have two SAE's in a 10G quarantine tank. fortunately, they were
cured and seem healthy now (lost 1 along the way, but the two survived,
and no symptoms for the past 2-3 weeks now). they had some sort of
bacterial infection (dropsy and bleeding under the scales) that cured
after two...

What does everyone like best about keeping fish? by

looking like he was delivering a lecture to three, very attentive Clown
Loaches sitting on the substrate facing him - then I saw the Pl*c glide

School's Out..Time for Trollers to surface by

As someone in another newsgroup said, it's troll season.
For what it's worth......
We have two people here (at the moment, anyway) who have certain basic
troll characteristics:
They are unable or unwilling to take responsibility for their words or

More on The Grand Accident/Experiment by

Well, all tankmates have adjusted well. Today, Oscar is hanging at the
bottom. He's not eating or wanting to eat as his appetite reflected since
his adoption. I saw him nibbling at some driftwood early this AM...I
noticed a piece of the wood float to the top. As I was reaching for the
