Yellow Labs - Behavior Question by
Conqueror
I have been raising red zebra's with success for years now, recently started
Yellow Lab 29g tank. I ordered them online so was not able pick sexes. Ended
up with 3 males and 3 females. Very unactive fish. They all seem to sit in
nitches under the rocky boulder-like landscape, occasionally...

Ramirezi courtship or aggression? by
fidhw
I have a 60l community tank with tetras, a pair of M. ramirezi and a trio of B. splendens. Generally this works very well, everyone interacts within their own species and they leave each other alone (apart from the intense curiosity of the B. splendens females, who nose into everyone's business)....

cichlid category... Despite my experience in the pet trade, the
cichlids are a family of fish that I only have a general knowledge of.
I was hoping for answers and...

Recommended Filtration for an Oscar (cross posted) by
Sunshyn
I'm looking for a more powerful filtration system for my 55 gal Oscar
tank. Although I vacuum and do partial water changes every 5 days or
so, I find my current bio-wheel filters to be inadequate. I did, at one
time, have an UGF in the tank but did not like it. I could not keep it
"healthy" with...

Problems keeping Gold Rams alive by
Gill Passman
Initially I bought 3 Gold Rams and put them in the main tank. Within 4 hours
2 of them had died. There was a very slight trace of ammonia (and I'm
talking hardly off the scale) so I moved the remaining Gold Ram to my son's
tank where it was very happy.
Once the ammonia settled down and all...

Keeping fry alive by
xqizit
Hi,
I had about 15 aulonocara fry that I stripped from the mother and
placed in a 21L tank. (I kept the mother in the main tank not the fry
tank)
The fry tank has a heater and a filter on it.
the water levels are all fine 26-27deg celcius 8.0pH nitrates and
ammonium is fine.

Tank Brands by
Gi Arab
I'm looking at purchasing a 180 gal tank to house my breeding group of
Frontosas. Does anyone here with experience with large tanks point me to the
best brand? Most of my smaller tanks are All Glass, and I've been very happy
with them, but don't know if there are any other (better) options out...
