The supplier is happy to have the fish back if I am concerned (which I am) but they haven't injured each other (yet), should I give up? Hard to say if you have two males from your description. The female blue rams typically have a pinkish belly. Bolivian rams are nearly impossible to differentiate (at least, I sure can't tell). I wouldn't worry too much about their quarreling, though. This is pretty typical for rams. I've got both blue rams and Bolivian rams, and all of them push each other around. None have ever hurt one another, though. The behavior isn't nearly as aggressive as that of other cichlids. In fact, its almost comical to watch. ![]() |
