MagDrive pump is tripping GFI....time to replace? by

After 2 years of perfect operation, my Magdrive pump just started tripping
the GFI after 20 seconds of operation. Resetting the GFI and plugging the
pump back in only gets another 20 seconds....

I have a 4,000 gallon pond with a waterfall, which provides some oxygenation. I
have been told that I need substantially more oxygenation.
Can anyone tell me how much is enough....is there a thing as TOO MUCH?

When the fish are being fed, should the pump be turned off? It seems like the
pump would suck out much of the food before the fish could eat it, and at any
rate, it would attract the fish too close to the skimmer once the food got over
