Can anyone recommend a sealer that will cope with small cracks in a concrete
pond (built in 1969) Its a 20' X 15' freeform pond with Koi. Thanks! I'm loosing water like crazy. |

A patching cement holds better than silicone. Moisture gets into cement and
can sometimes loosen the silicone. on 2-20 the pond water temp was 50oF and all of the koi came streaming to the corner
I lift smacking their lips wanting food so I fed them a very small amount. on 2-22 the temp was 52oF. the hardy water lilies never died and are looking pretty good. the koi's last feeding was on 1-16 so they were "down" for a little more than a month. this is compared to last year where the last feeding was around Oct 8th and the first feeding was around April 15. I think the 500 watt heater is definitely worth it.
