I recently tried making homemade fish food for my Clownfish. I used about: 10 whole shrimp 30 small freeze dried krill 1 oz fresh salmon 1 oz frozen whitefish ..25 oz flake food ..25 oz kelp pellets I blended these into a paste and added gelatin.

Do I need to filter tap water before putting in my fresh water tank ? If so will reverse osmosis do it ? If so do I have to add something to the filtered fresh filtered tap water ? Thanks. Robert G Smith
