Coral ID requested by
Don Geddis
Just bought this coral yesterday:
http://reef.geddis.org/unknown/
Anybody know what it is? I've never seen it before, and the guy at the LFS
couldn't identify it either.
Didn't come out too well in the photos, but the fleshy part has a brown
undertone, with electric green shimmer on top. Pretty...

Shrimp-friendly Fish in my sal****er aq. by
Bryan
I am about to add cleaner shrimp to my new aquarium and am looking for
advice. I do a lot of reading about fish species and really can't find a
lot of fish that are shrimp-friendly. Maybe some of the sites I'm reading
I'm taking too seriously but they are all I have.
I don't want a fish that is...

Ammonia test problem by
B
Hello.
I'm continuing to let my tank cycle, but I'm not sure if anything is
happening with the ammonia levels. It's been 3 weeks now. I have lots
of live rock, so maybe it was ready to go from the start. There's also
3 chormis fish in the tank.
The ammonia tests always show up as a cloudy...

Black spots on my cleaner shrimp by

This comes only a few days after I started to notice that only two of

Hey guys my girlfriend and I are thinking about getting a clownfish for
our aqaurium. At the moment we have only had goldfish and the like, but
he have a 10 gallon aquarium that was recently vacated by the loss of a
baby chameleon (long story that involved us being ripped off by an
online dealer)....

RO membrane question by
Mark Cooper
Our house has an odd plumbing issue. Someone in years past set it up so
that a certain amount of hot water is fed through the cold water pipes,
apparently thinking this would keep the pipes from freezing in cold
weather.
Often when you first turn on the cold tap you get some pretty warm...

Strange Clown Fish by

I have a very strange acting clown fish. He is just a regular false
clown who I bought at the LFS a month ago. The first day he ate a few
bites of plankton. Since then he will not eat flake, dried bloodworms,
or any of the San Francisco Bay Brand frozen foods. This includes the
frozen brine...
