Another Almost Good Idea
I have rather hard water, and I have a conductivity meter that is
calibrated to indicate PPM to measure it. I noticed all the smart people specify measurements in microseimens, so I got a meter calibrated to read that way. Off scale high! So much for measuring that. |

You could dilute with distilled water before measurement, say 9 parts distilled to 1 part tap for a 10X decrease in sensitivity. The last time I bought distilled water and measured it it was 1 microseimen, perhaps your test sample is closer to 1000, so the measurement would be accurate, if not convenient. George -- |
