update: I direct fed it with food two nights ago. It must be too late.
That thing looks really bad, really bony, colors have turned ugly. If
feeding it once or twice a month is really necessary...

No I don't feed it actually. I've heard from a couple people that they,
personally, never fed theirs. I then read that they can be fed but their
main source, and only necessary source, for food...

Phosphate reactor question
George, I can't put it in my home either. No basements in Texas and a wife
that decorates. There isn't a plumbing area that I can hook up an RO/DI nor
handle the water output.

water hardness question
Just did some testing and got a problem. My water hardness has always been
on the low side of "normal" but not now.
pH is 8.4
Phosphates aren't registering
Calcium is at least 440
Ammonia, Nitrite...

I use the Current USA Outer Orbit series. (The 48" for mine

It was a shock to the wallet but it came with two timers for the halides...

My question was moreso about the waste. Is there water waste coming out of
