Default GROWING SPONGES

I'm having a problem with sponges, little white spots growing everywhere in
my tank including among the corals.

How can I get rid of them? beside picking one by one off the rocks.

Thanks,

Ruben

Those are harmless, why do you want to remove them? Your fish/inverts
should eat those if you have them in your tank.

They are growing where my corals are causing them to die.
What fish eat them?
I haven't seen any of them trying yet.

Are you sure they are sponges?
I haven't heard of sponges killing corals or invading them. VMMV

Most sponges don't hurt corals. There are some that can.
Most fish won't eat sponges. Angels like them.
Do you have any pics?
Can you describe in more detail of how the sponges are
growing in regard to the corals, and how the corals are
responding?

Were they like these? http://www.geocities.com/bryg30/81106-randomsponge-1
I had these all of a sudden pop up between my star polyps and inside my dark
filter containers and started in a few other dark places. I was getting
worried too but all of a sudden they weren't on the star polyps anymore...
and last I checked they weren't in the filter either or anywhere else. I
don't know why but I didn't do anything different. I will say though that
even though they apparently aren't the kind that kill corals, I didn't like
how they really started taking over things. In other words, I understand
your impatience with these things...
