I have a small one on my 46g tank and looks happy.

I guess an 8" fish would be too much but how long will it take to get that
dimension?

Anyways, if it grows that big, I'm sure any LFS will trade it in.

And I have never seen a 12" one yet.

I guess the key is getting very small.

I didn't buy one. Ever see a 12" long "Dorie" in a 48" long tank ?

I am seeing 8" long Dorie in a 36" tank every day...
