Default Dorie

I have a small one on my 46g tank and looks happy.

I guess an 8" fish would be too much but how long will it take to get that
dimension?

Anyways, if it grows that big, I'm sure any LFS will trade it in.

And I have never seen a 12" one yet.

I guess the key is getting very small.

Right on topic and good information sir.

I have a 75 gallon tank and this is precisely the reason why
I didn't buy one. Ever see a 12" long "Dorie" in a 48" long tank ?

I am seeing 8" long Dorie in a 36" tank every day...
Same sad proportions, unfortunatelly :-(

It took mine less than two years...

But I like my pet - I do not want to give it away :-))

The key is not getting one for a small tank,
because helthy fish will grow fast and pretty
quickly outgrows its tank... Do not make my mistake.
