I'm planning on getting an AquaController II or other similar controller
and I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations for good brands
of pH and temperature probes and any good place to buy them from. I'd
like to get probes that will last a few years before they need to be
replaced so I'm willing to pay a bit more for quality, though I would
like to stay below a couple hundred dollars per probe if that is
possible.

Thanks for any recommendations.

I have "Lifeguard's Big Digital" themometer. It reads both air and
tank temperature and has an alarm if the temperature goes too high.

I have a "Checker by Hanna" ph probe. A waste of money in my opinion.
It must be calibrated, requires a battery and the probe must
eventually be replaced. I find it just as easy to use the chemical
test. I just tried it after not using it for over a year and it needs
to be recalibrated. Last calibration I used the chemical test for the
standard, no gain there.
