I have noticed a lot of posts lately about fish dying. At the time I did not
read in that I didn't have that problem. Well....I have lost 5 fish in the last 2 days. We have had an excessive amount of rain in the last week (6"+) and haven't seen the sun in about 10 days. I tested the water and the nitrites and nitrates were a little on the high side but not real high. pH was about 7.2, water temp 83. The fish seem to be starved for air in that they are near the surface. Water is clear, there are 2 spillways, 1 bubbler and a spitting frog. The pond is approx. 2000 gal and to this point I have had no problems. Please help.. |
