Default Saprolegnia cotton wool

Hi

I have a pond with 9 fish in, one seems to have developed Saprolegnia
(cotton wool like fungus down one side) I have been treating it for a few
days and it seems to be receding, but leaving blackish-blue almost bruise
type marking behind. Is this normal? All the other fish are cool and have
no symptoms.

cheers

M
