I followed this newsgroup about five years ago. I had a 135 gal reef tank.
There was a great receipe for homemade reef food. I've lost the receipe and have set up my tank again. Does anyone have a good receipe? Thanks, Joe |

![]() Hi Joe, These are probably the most widely circulated DIY aquarium food mixes: Here's a link to Marc Levenson's recipe http://www.melevsreef.com/food.html and here's one to Eric Bourneman's http://forum.marinedepot.com/FindPost20131.aspx BTW: I believe Eric refers to using a blender in this post. Later in the discussion thread he confirmed that he actually uses a food processor. Here's a link to the whole thread: http://forum.marinedepot.com/Topic20086-9-1.aspx The main thing I take from reading these is that one shouldn't be afraid to add, subtract, substitute, and modify according to the specific animals in your tank and the availability of ingredients. Nutritiously yours, Alex |
