I added a royal gramma to my 30-gallon tank one week ago. A few days ago, I
noticed some little white bubble-like spots on him and today there are a lot more. Is this ich? What should I do? Thanks! Maddie |

You may want to start by reading about Ich identification-Oodinium &
Cryptocaryon. I have had two mayjor outbreaks with ich and found this the most useful source of information. I printed it all out and put together a 3 ring binder for reference on this and other things I have learned about. http://saltaquarium.about.com/cs/fis...a/aa102797.htm There are several types of treatment depending on what type of tank setup you have. I would alos suggest a book by Martin Moe. "beginner to breader" Type in Ich and Search only in rec.aquaria.marine.reefs. 1st be sure this is really what you have before you do any type of treatments. Rick |
