Default Mosquito fish vs goldfish in barrel

Thanks for all the advice so far on my 1/2 barrel pond,

I went to buy some floating plants clumps of primrose, Hyacinch, looks
like I got some hortwort seedling (clover like things?)from the clump
too.

They gave me a scoopful of mosquito fish for free. About 6 plus one
really tiny baby one size of a tad pole.

I added a pair of feeder/comet goldfish the same evening. They seem to
be doing well, both sleeping on the bottom soon after midnight. This
morning I came out and they already found their fish house and ran into
it.

I feed some goldfish pallets and the mosquito fish are eating it. Will
the goldfish be able to compete? They are fast buggers too, just a bit
skittish.

I plan on feeding daily and then not as often after my plants get
established. I know the mosquito fish multiply quickly anyway I will
need to take some out of there sooner or later, do they generate a big
bioload?

Another question about my fountain pump, running 24/7, doesn't seem to
bother the goldfish as I saw them sleeping nearby the filter, not
getting bothered by turbulence. Without stable water will there be any
larve for my fishes to eat?

Thanks

No. Mosquitoes look for still water to lay their eggs.
