Default More Pond Pictures....

I just posted some new pictures from today...

http://members.cox.net/bokowski/080703.html

The pink lilly in the picture is about 4" and the pads are averaging
around 6". The current pads are pretending to be a lotus and are
inches above the water... even though the plant is 2 ft under water.

The fish that are hanging around are in the 3 ft deep section of the
pond.

I would love to see more ponders posting current pictures... in
addition to what kind of camera was used. (I am currently looking to
replace my camera)

My Camera -- cheepo 2 mega-pixel camera with no fancy features

I really need a 4+ mega-pixel camera with macro capability... in
adition it needs to be able to use lens filters (UV filter, etc.) for
us ponders who have overlapping hobbies. -- If you have a camera with
this type of setup please post some pond pictures so I can show my
wife what I am missing

Chad, Wow that is really spectacular! Great pictures, the plants look great.
Well I will try to get some pictures of my puddle for the rest of you to
laugh at. I will have to have my son put them on the computer, that's
another down fall of mine. But I'm sure having fun at this. Kc

"the plants look great.

You know, I didn't even compare my earlier pictures that are on my
site. I started with 2 WH in my purifalls in June. I just about
killed them when I had to stop the waterflow during construction. So
I bought 2 more... and now the purifalls is crammed full with 2ft tall
WH, my stream has a bunch of smaller WH that wandered off. My 200
gallon pond is completley covered, including its small veggiefilter.
My 100 gallon deck pond is completely covered, and now my large pond
is over 1/3 covered (it was 1/2 covered but I took a swim and crammed
it all back onto one side. Just this week I finally started getting
consistent blooms out of them. Then of course my other plants are
growing quite well also.

BTW... anyone near Omaha want WH... send me an email.

Loverly, loverly.

My pond pictures are taken with a disposable *Kodak with cd disk* since my
fancy 35 mm took a nose dive onto a concrete floor from 20 feet up during my
academic team's competition. Boy did that hurt! Smithereens!

I have a 3.2mp cam, and I don't think I have ever used it on the max
setting.
