I have a 30 gallon Oceanic hex fowlr. I'd like to put a sump in my
basement, directly below where I have the tank in my living room. Depending on exactly where I placed the pump, there could probably be a good 15' of head from the pump up to the tank. Can anyone recommend a good pump for this? Probably just going to just a 20 gallon tank as a sump. Thanks. Steve |

With that much head, you'd better go with a larger sump
than that. Wayne Sallee Cleetus Awreetus wrote on 10/22/2005 11:17 AM: I have a 30 gallon Oceanic hex fowlr. When you get finished with the water level decreasing from the main tank,
The hose or pipe from the main tank to the sump draining, plus the water all ready in the sump youu are going to have a very wet basement floor. Been there, done that. -Brian "Cleetus Awreetus" wrote in message news:9Dt6f.1502$tl5.564@trnddc02... Why? Steve "Wayne Sallee" wrote in message link.net...
