I just got a little Via Aqua tank to replace my Nanocube, and I am
setting it up. It comes with gravel filtration, but I have a Prizm Skimmer for it. The protein skimmer should be enough I figure, with a fine sand bed and live rock. The gravel filtration in addition, would be too much biofiltration and would introduce too much nitrate right? |

I have a Via Aqua tank also (10gal) between LR and LS the only filtration I have is a CPR Bak Pak skimmer and everything is thriving in my tank. I have 2 percula clowns, ricordia, mushrooms, pulsing xenia, star polyps, astrea snails, and a bunch of blue leg hermits. The only problems I have #1) not enough room to add more ![]() replacement bulbs for the light fixture, just waiting for commodity axis to get them out I guess. |
