I went according to plan an got a Coral Beauty a couple of days ago. Well,
he wasn't welcome by my Damsell, who beat the fins out of him forcing me to get the Coral Beauty out. At that point a I decided to take the damsell out. It is harder than it looks! Two days after, he was still in there. I starved him and did the bottle trap with no luck. My last resource was a life bait. I put the Coral Beauty inside the bottle and he got interested, after hitting the bottle wall for four hours he went in and the beaten Coral Beauty ran out. Now the damsell is waiting his faith. I still have one small damsell in my tank, but so far he's very shy. Now my tank is predator free. My other fish still keep their territory but not viciously. That damsell cost me hundreds of dollars, he wouldn't rest until he destroy the competition. So for any who has a hard time catching the fish, try life bait next time with the bottle, especially on territorial fish. If that fails, get a lion fish, lol. Ruben |
