![]() Tadpoles are devouring my water lilies one leaf at a time. Is there any way to keep this from happening? What can I do to eliminate the tadpoles? Will the water lilies grow back if the floating leaves all get eaten? -- stuartrk ------------------------------------------------------------------------ posted via www.GardenBanter.co.uk ----== Posted via Newsfeed.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeed.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 100,000 Newsgroups ---= 19 East/West-Coast Specialized Servers - Total Privacy via Encryption =--- |

When I was a kid I used to collect them and I remember they liked melon very much. ![]() -- Victor Martinez Owned and operated by the Fantastic Seven (TM) Send your spam he Email me he |

I have tadpoles too, I feed them spirulina flakes, then they leave my plants
alone ![]() Feed them, and I bet they chose the food over your lillies! |

![]() Thanks Sophie. The idea of blanched lettuce worked perfectly. The water lillies are recovering nicely now. Even the one that seemed to have been totally eaten is sending up new leaves. -- stuartrk ------------------------------------------------------------------------ posted via www.GardenBanter.co.uk ----== Posted via Newsfeed.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeed.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 100,000 Newsgroups ---= 19 East/West-Coast Specialized Servers - Total Privacy via Encryption =--- |
