Default Trigger fish

I have a 92 gallon corner tank, with a sailfin tang, two percula clowns, two
yellow damselfish, and two blue and yellow damselfish. I am thinking of
adding one or two fish to the tank, and I would like to add a triggerfish,
possibly a niger species. Does anyone have any info on keeping triggers with
these other fishes I described? Are they compatible? Mike

Hi !

The triggerfishes, are not so dangerous to other tank mates, however they
may bite them and destroy they fins.
You should observe your niger, and the way it bahaves.

Triggers could kill some snails and shrimps.

Yes, but do they? Is it likely that there will be trouble if they are placed
together? I have been hearing that niger triggers or 'red toothed triggers
are somewhat peaceful when compared to other triggers. Mike.

Fish are much like any other animal. You can state what they might do
based on experience with the species, but individuals have individual
characteristics. Myself, I would not put a trigger in that tank.
