Default aggressive goldfish

I've got 2 goldfish in a 15 litre tank, and I've noticed that there's a lot
of aggression from the older of the 2 goldfish.. I had to buy a new
goldfish, after the old one mysteriously died ( well it was a goldfish we
won at the local fair..) and since then the older of the 2 seems to spend
most of his time chasing the new one around the tank, the situation seems to
get worse during feedtime. Should I pair each of them into a separate tank?
Graham

It would probably be best to separate them, Oddly enough, fish are
individuals and can have personalities, not always to our liking.

Default aggressive goldfish - breeding

*Note: There are several *Koi-Lo's* on the pond and aquaria groups.*

Pecking at the keyboard with two fingers Graham Chapman at
turned out this gem:

======================================
The new one may be a female and this is normal behavior for this time of the
year. The males aggressively pursue the females to breed with them.

Koi-Lo....
Aquariums since 1952. Frugal ponding since 1995.
