I am setting up a new marine tank and was wondering can I use uncured rock
and do I need lighting during curing process,? |

You can use uncured live rock, but you will have to let it cure before you add any life to the tank. Now on the lighting, do you need them no, do you want them in my opinion yes. If you want the photosynthic life to do the best during the curing process turn the lights on, the down side is that you could have some pretty major algea blooms with the lights on.
