Breeding cichlids

Hi all;
I love cichlids and would like to start breeding them, but I'm not sure
what breed is easier - any info and suggestions would be appreciated.

convict cichlids are probably the easiest to breed. put a few in a 30
gallon tank, add water and presto.

neolamp Brichardi - breed furiuosly ...look pretty and have some
interesting family group behavoiur - juvies bring up the fry to let
the parents breed again

I recommend them as they are pretty and so can be got rid of to LFS
easily - Convicts leave you with....100s of baby convicts that no-
one wants. and another 30-50 each month or so. If you breed piranha
or oscars etc......you may have a use for them otherwise it gets to
be a real problem
