Default How long do I keep baby fish seperate for ?

I have one baby goldfish that survived out of 7. It's now about 3/4 of an inch long and looking in good health. It's in the main airiated tank but in a breeding trap. How long does it need to be kept on its own before putting in with the other fish ? I'm worried about it being eaten or sucked up the filter. A bit of guidance would be great as I'm new to this!
